Nativity Welcomes New Pastor!

Rev. James F. Hurlbert
During the month of July, I would like to meet with small groups, a maximum of 10 people at a time, from the parish. I see these meetings as "get-to-know-you" listening sessions. Each group of people would include 5 parishioners from one worship site and 5 parishioners from the other worship site. The location of these meetings will alternate between the Nativity and St. Gabriel sites. You are welcome to attend at either worship site. To allow for the greatest exchange of ideas, I would like only one person per household at each meeting. Other family members are free to select another meeting to join.

Here are some dates I have reserved on my calendar to meet with you. My thought is that the conversations would last 60 - 90 minutes.

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You. Amen

help a mother in need
Return A.S.A.P. However many babies need help for their basic necessities that we take for granted. Explain to your child that their donation of spare change truly makes a difference for a baby and they are making it possible for a baby to be welcomed wonderfully into our world! Taking the time to day a little prayer with your child for all the unborn babies is another way of helping and is an added blessing for the babies. All of these services are free as well.

Please Consider Becoming A lector and/or Eucharistic Minister
Our Parish is looking for volunteers to assist at Mass and throughout our Parish.

By devoting your time and talent as lectors and Eucharistic Ministers you could help make our liturgies be truly life–giving celebrations as it could and should be.

It's your decision at which Mass you'll be able to help and usually your help is only needed once each month. Be available to meet with homebound parishioners as needed.

If you're interested please contact the rectory and ask to see our
"Time and Talent" Brochure.
• Please turn off your cell phone.
• Please be modest in dress.
• Please remember that gum chewing is never appropriate during Mass.
• Please be mindful and courteous of others and provide as much seating in the pews/chairs as possible.
